Cindy Kalberer of Fidelity Investments showed us the game Scavenger Hunt which she created using Lectora. This game is being used to teach users about their jobs.

Kim Madaglia (Mass. Dept of Revenue) showed us her Jeopardy-type game that she first created in PowerPoint, then converted to Lectora. She also showed us a Hollywood Squares-type template, and a Pirates game. She instructed us to go to the Chicago Lectora Users Group website (http://theclug.org/ ) and select Resources and then Lectora Examples, where we can find the Jeopardy Game template.

Laura Gillenwater (Sun Life Financial) showed us a Horse Race game she created in Lectora for use as a review at the end of training. Horse advances if correct answer is chosen. Other horse advances if wrong answer is chosen. She also showed us a Koala bear game she created in Lectora. Laura mentioned that, with the new “Move to” action available as of Lectora 2007, she could have created these games with substantially fewer actions.

There were many other interesting presentations! Download the full minutes from the link below!
